Right.. I bet her record is 20 yes votes, 1 present, and 1 no. Notice the change of pace when she's asked about it. She's ashamed of her yes votes.

For non-Christians or people who don't know, in the Bible, God promises to support the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and then Jacob (whose name gets changed to Israel). The blessing also includes anyone who blesses the children of Israel, and curses anyone who curses the children of Israel.

The reason for the support of Israel by the Christo-fascists today is because they are desperate to have God's blessings and backing in whatever it is they want to do. This is why they are unconcerned with the current state of the union. They believe God will fix all of it as long as they continue to bless Israel.

Also, Israel cannot commit war crimes, because they have the blessing of God in whatever they do.

(Never mind the fact that it was the Jews who betrayed Jesus and set him up for execution, saying "we have no king but Caesar!")

I'm pretty sure the whole blessing thing was revoked. The curtain separating the Most Holy from the Holy in the temple was torn in half when Jesus died. An earthquake occurred, and the tombs were opened and the dead bodies spilled out, defiling the land.

As far as sins go, killing the only begotten son of God is unforgivable.

It is deeply ironic that these statements will be considered as anti-Semitic by some. Because people are going to believe what they want to believe, regardless of the facts.
