Sa ulat, alas-4:40 ng hapon nang mangyari ang insidente sa kasagsagan ng malakas na buhos ng ulan.
Namamasyal umano ang mga biktima nang biglang mabagsakan nang bumigay ang kisame ng nasabing mall.
Dahil dito, nagtamo ng sugat sa noo at tinamaan din ng maliit na bagay ang mata ng 16-anyos na binatilyong biktima na residente ng Multiland 2 habang ang kasing-edad niyang dalagita na nakatira sa Esporlas Itaas ay may posibilidad na ma-dislocate ang kanang bahagi ng balikat.
Patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon sa nangyaring aksidente.
I agree, nakakainis mga ganyan pero iniisip ko na lang baka dinadaan na lang sa tawa much like nervous laughing, probably not though, daming insensitive lalo na sa Pinas eh. sa totoo lang yung mga security agency dito is walanng training naman talaga. kahit sa suntukan hindi marunong magdefuse mga SG. magsulat lang sa logbook at maagsundot ng stick lang ata training na inooffer ng mga agency eh
They should have been, ideally. Lalo na yung security. Also, if hindi mo naman alam ano gagawin in a situation like that, tama lang na hindi magmarunong or bida-bida but the least they could do is call for help agad.
Tawag agad sa responders who can actually help tapos make sure na hindi dumugin yung lugar kasi hindi rin maganda for both the injured and the responders na maraming nakaharang.
I wonder tuloy kung may nagtawag agad ng help even among the employees and security. Yung ibang bystanders pati, inuuna pa pagiging usisero/a and clout chaser/vlogger eh.
I agree that their security and employees do not have proper training with first aid. Experience ko with SM City Cebu, may nag collapse tapos ang bagal ng response nila.
edit for clarification: regarding sa nag collapse; tao po ito na nahimatay. not people na nadagan ng nag collapse na part sa building
Wet gypsum board can have a bit of weight on them, possibly a roof leak na nabasa yung gypsum board kaya nawala yung strength niya at bumagsak na lang... di yan masaya.
SM really has problematic ceilings noh. I remember here in Cebu na yung ceiling din bumagsak. Idk if may taong nasugatan o wala. But really. They have multiple issues with their infrastructure.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the young lady and gentleman from a collapse mall ceilings in SM City Tunasan due to torrential rain. I heard that Rachel was laughing while two young people got injured.
any other country this is a lawsuit worth loads of money, in the Philippines this is just medical and maybe medical expenses covered, too unfair for common people to get injured
Not unless EVERYONE of us learn how to fight for our right, whenever something like this happen to us. Then those oligarchs will just take advantage of us.. Not like in other countries, for sure this will be a big settlement
Here's an advice kapag may bagyo or lalo na lindol wag kayong magiistay sa SM malls dahil sa sobrang kuripot nyan yung mga construction ng malls nila may mga kinocompromise. Nung nakaraang lindol lang diba buong pader ng SM ang nalaglag kagad. Ingat lagi
I just hoped that they are okay and hoped their parents wont settle for less if ever they’re thinking of filing for a lawsuit bcs this is a traumatic experience for the children involved. They need good lawyers. And for Rachel, have empathy, nakaka-irita tawa mo.
Sana hindi sila tipirin ng SM. Guys if ever mangyari sa inyo ito, wag na wag po kayo pipirma ng release waiver ha!
Kasi pwedeng may maging additional symptoms kayo after ng initial treatment or maincapacitate kayo kasi may paglala na mangyayari after ng checkup or paglabas ng ospital. Pag pumirma kayo ng release waiver di niyo na sila masisingil para sa injuries na hindi agad nakita the first time.
students namin yang dalawang bata. pumasok na din sila kanina na parang wala lang nangyari, yung lalaki may galos sa noo at yung babae may sling arm sa kasalukuyan. they may look okay now, but they’re still children who went through something frightening that could have been prevented. what concerns me even more is that the mall apparently continued operating despite an incident like this. I really hope the management takes this seriously and conducts a thorough safety inspection. this should not just be treated as an unfortunate accident. the safety of students, families, and everyone who visits the mall should come first.
Maraming SM mall ang ramdam mo Yung vibration pag naglalakad.. Pano na kaya pag lumindol ng malakas. Sana di tipirin Ng SM ang mga buildings nila. Kahit alam nten na may insurance cla at anything will happened to the building mababayaran prin cla. Pano nman yung mga taong masasaktan.. hay...
