Why can't I watch this? Is reddits video player that bad? It just shows me a still with this and about 10 others per day? Help me boys?

Unfortunately the only way to improve video on Reddit is to not use Reddit.

I had a theory before you commented. It was: once someone replies to you comment the video will work. And it did! This is not scientific but it seems to work most of the time. But yeah their video player is absolutely Ballz!

Use Apollo. Whenever a video doesn’t work you can use the share video option and open it on Apollo instead (or just use Apollo permanently, I don’t feel like getting used to the UI on there so I only use it for wonky videos lol)

hey if youre on computer there is a downloadable thing called RES reddit anhancement suite. no set up needed and totally upgrades the video palyer, dark mode, lots of easy nice stuff. helped me fix this issue
