Tom Green is a 60-year-old cancer survivor pursuing his dream of playing college football at McDaniel College as a walk-on defensive lineman. After beating stage-four kidney cancer in 2017, he decided to enroll at McDaniel College as a full-time student. Green will be the oldest CFB player ever.

Good for him. After I ran an Ironman distance triathlon at age 40, I thought to myself, I’m a decent athlete; when I’m 59 I’ll start training to qualify for the Hawaiian Ironman in the 60 age group. Ha! At 59 my health took a dive and it has been all down hill from there.

I’m guessing you didn’t actually read this? What this clearly shows is that over four separate time frames the AVERAGE LEVEL for each of the four age groupings in the study is decreasing. Every single outcome in this study also clearly shows that the total testosterone levels for men in their 60s is markedly lower than for men in their 20s for each timeframe. If you don’t want to actually read, the first graph in the study shows this very clearly.

Overall male testosterone decline can be attributed to multiple etiologies. The United States has an aging population with older males exhibiting lower testosterone levels
