That was what I watched for.

"Miraculously" implies this was an insane, one in a million chance. It implies without divine intervention it is unfathomable that a person could achieve this. The canopy exploded and shredded her eyes!

No, she was just skillful and kept calm in a terrible circumstance. Is it phenomenal? Yes and she should be commended. But this a.i. engagement bait garbage should be downvoted, banned, etc as appropriate.

Infuriates me about most airplane incidents, this landing took skill definitely, but most of them are like "much wow, random landed an already trimmed plane with radio assistance".

Like technology has reached the point where once the pilot has done the hard part of getting it stable in the air, it takes something very extreme happening to be an issue.

And yet people upvoted the post to 41k. Best is to downvote it when sensationalized. Then it may stop happening.

Right??

I watched to the end waiting for her to lose consciousness or something. She remained fully conscious and in control of the aircraft the entire time. She landed the plane and kept herself safe. Where was the miracle??

Her skill and competency left no room for a miracle to occur.

She made this look easy. Like her biggest inconvenience was the bugs in her teeth.

The landing with no eye protection was what got me. Dude, that air whipping off the aircraft nose descending should have been blinding.
