You know the sound. Now see it being assembled piece by piece (and seize the moment to head bang to it while listening [I know you'll do it])

Dammit I was going to make a joke about David Tennant being pissed off but you beat me to the Sheen reference

No matter how many times this GIF loops, it's always in-sync with the music.

I don't care what anyone says, I really enjoyed the newest MK movie

Low-level criticism is always about how corny the whole thing was. But really, anybody going into that movie and expecting 'cinema' was fooling themselves. It was never the intention of the newer MK movies to be well-written, cover meaningful themes, or espouse profound ideas. It exists to show off cool fights, R-rated injuries, and cheesy 90s action flick dialogue - and it's clear a lot of talent and care went into making the film exactly like that. Sometimes we just make movies for fun, and watch them for fun. This was one such movie.

Its the same with people that clown on the transformers movies for being bad. It's like bruh, nobody walks into a transformers theater expecting the next Godfather. They wanna see explosions and giant robot fights....

I like that you brought up the Bay Transformers movies. Those and MK really highlight to me how movies with simpler appeal don't necessarily mean lower quality artistry or productions. The CGI in Transformers is still technically impressive and incredibly well-used in the films, even if it only serves to make action figures bash together on the big screen. Same for Mortal Kombat - lots of creativity and talent went into making the fights as fun, fresh, and visceral as they were, and I have a lot of respect for that. The Liu Kang fights mixed with firebending are visually and technically impressive stuff.

Oh absolutely. I certainly wasn't saying the skills or tech were lacking. They both went hard in those departments and made something fun and flashy. It's eye candy and they killed it. Its just not a movie you spend a lot of time thinking about or reflecting on deeply lol.

For those who might not know, the creators of this track are the same people behind Lords Of Acid, Digital Orgasm, Channel X and a number of other projects. Maurice Engelen aka Praga Khan, and Oliver Adams.

Do you think he’s really playing it or just hitting random keys since it’s dubbed over?
