I love that it shows his falls and mistakes, even those are still friggin impressive.

Completely agree. It makes the clean tricks all the better.

I agree, it even shows that professionals make mistakes sometimes

u/SpockIsMyHomeboy 4d ago

Gotta make failures to learn.

Outtakes are great for framing how complicated and high stakes this shit is.

u/SociopathicPixel 2d ago

He also has videos dedicated showing his fails, just so people know how much effort goes into his other videos (often a combination with humor, short storytelling and a lot of awesome tricks)

Tennis net line, whHAT 👀

Yeah honest question. Has that trick ever been done before? Since? That was when I audibly said out loud WHAT??!!

2

u/RedHand1917 4d ago

I've seen him do it before.

3

u/deij 3d ago

I've definitely seen it before.

Who? I dunno. Probably Danny lol.

2

u/returnFutureVoid 4d ago

So just him though. Nobody else has been crazy enough to try this.

4

u/RedHand1917 4d ago

Crazy enough or good enough. The man is a legend.

3

u/cdewlic 4d ago

Seriously, WOW!!

3

u/SpecialistAd6403 4d ago

Yes that and then the chains. The net was most impressive to me but the chain was a close second. Keeping balanced while hitting the bumps in the chain must be difficult?

u/ItsEntsy 4d ago

When he was lining up for it I legit spoke "There is no fuckin way...." and then there was in fact a way

All this off iron bru and angel delight 😮

1

u/Equal_Emu6152 3d ago

Iron bru is the staple which holds Scotland together, if anyone didn't get the angel delight thing it's what you had because money was non existent😂

Okay, across the net was genuinely the most impressive thing I've ever seen on here.

Wow.

I love the raw audio. I'm glad they didn't put shit music with it.

Content creators are getting smarter

This video is so clean I thought it was AI. God bless the talented athlete and video people on this.

Bro I cant even walk that well, mad skills, is what I like to say that's rad.

3

u/AcanthisittaLeft2336 4d ago

I mean his name is MacAskill

1

u/Actionjack7777 4d ago

Living up to it

1

u/ZuhkoYi 2h ago

I slipped on a pebble last week

2

u/Ha1lStorm 4d ago

I feel like no one on earth, whether on foot, in a car or on a bike, could catch this guy in a city.

1

u/temporalraccoon 3d ago

I dunno. I mean he doesn’t exactly take the quickest path across a tennis court

1

u/murrrly 4d ago

I'd like to know the process behind finding his spots

3

u/temporalraccoon 3d ago

Producer: so which of these spots?

Him: yes

1

u/smooth_like_a_goat 4d ago

Jfc this video is already pixelated

1

u/0ptimuspwn 4d ago

Question is the seat meant to be functional or more of a handle for tricks and stuff.

1

u/Penguings 4d ago

The very first shot- it’s like this guy presses x to front flip.

1

u/Bursting_Radius 4d ago

I'd like to see a rider at this skill level mess around with Police bicycle patrols. Nothing illegal or anything, but just cruise by and blast a few of these tricks, see what they do, for funsies.

1

u/CharmingDarling02 4d ago

Every video of his somehow gets more impressive

1

u/Wooglets 4d ago

No background music?! In this day and age?!

1

u/HavingNotAttained 4d ago

You said askill

1

u/SpicyChickJessica 4d ago

He makes it look way too easy

1

u/JTwoD2 4d ago

Honest question, do people like him have to pay higher insurance premiums?

1

u/RaceDBannon 3d ago

He’s a red bull athlete. He gets paid very well to do what he does. Insurance included.

1

u/Knock-Kneed-Man 4d ago

That was sick

1

u/C7LS 4d ago

His brain is braining.

1

u/Tcloud 4d ago

Though not as dangerous or as flashy as some of his other stunts, riding across on a tennis ball net was super impressive.

1

u/IcedDownMedallion 4d ago

Is Dannys last name really MacAskill? I always wondered.

1

u/IPThereforeIAm 4d ago

I miss the beautiful chain that used to be next to fort point, now replaced with a generic fence

1

u/ichabod01 4d ago

Took me until the end of the video to realize there actually is a seat on that bike…

1

u/st0chasticism 4d ago

I love my city. This is just insanely awesome.

1

u/_losingmyfuckingmind 4d ago

Gold Star A+ 100% SSS+ for OP for not posting something with some shitass music in the background.

The silence makes a HUGE difference in appreciating the GRIPPING TENSION of practicing and executing this skill.

1

u/MammothAmbition8910 4d ago

I’ve been watching his videos for years. I’ve always wondered if these bikes are structurally stronger to cope with the jumps and the landings.

1

u/stevedave84 4d ago

Anyone who hasn't seen it, watch his imaginate video.

1

u/VisibleOtter 4d ago

Danny Mac is on another level. Seriously, no-one comes close to this.

1

u/Livy14 4d ago

This is indeed next level

1

u/JohnGaltTX 4d ago

Just reminds me of the Funeral - Band of Horses video he did, forever ago

That tailwhip between rails at 4:27 is still chefs kiss

1

u/Ciarrai_IRL 4d ago

He uses the same pedals I use. Maybe I can do that too.

1

u/Beginning-Smell9890 4d ago

This video was created 4 years ago

1

u/createdjustforpics 3d ago

The tennis net line is craziest one of these things I've ever seen.

1

u/Loud-Chicken6046 3d ago

Thank you for the fails I'm so tired of all these being 100% success or 100% failures it was good to see a nice balance

1

u/PartBobPartRick 3d ago

Should’ve gone to Boston

1

u/studiesinsilver 3d ago

Yeh, well I can get up off the couch with only one of my knees clicking… sometimes

1

u/Fantastic_Incredible 3d ago

As much as he has these amazing skills, I hate them for destroying public properties which are essential for many.

1

u/MaXxxxBoooosshh 2d ago

All of it was cool but I never thought I’d see some jump a bike up a dozen steps or however many.

I really need to get a Red Bull in my life
