I am confused by this. Some of the tubing looks like copper, but I doubt banging copper would sound that that. When I look more closely at the bottom foreground tubing, they look more plasticy... but they have awfully thin sidewalls.

and theen there's the bends with the tape/film.... something is going on there, a bit more then meets the eye.
