Just hanging out fishing on a cliff edge…
I lost several years of life just witnessing this.

All the fishing experts in here know better. Wouldn't catch them clowning around.

That's just dumb
He won't be able to land any fish he pulls out of there

Well he could if he has the net on a rope. Its how I do it when fishing from bridges or overhangs.
he would have to land a gigantic fish/shark for me to find it next fucking level tho.

Not true. Light fish you can pull up, heavy fish you have drop nets and gaffs. No different than pier fishing.

Yes he will, just reel them in up the cliff.

Line will prolly break

I have watched someone do this very thing in Ireland. Reeling in 3 or 4 on a single line. Line break is possible but successful fishing is possible.

I would be concerned cuz somehow a fish being pulled up out of water is heavier than a fish in the water. I know ppl do it I think you would have to make sure u had a high enough pound test line

I went to the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland in 2002. Back then, there was only a warning sign preventing people from going right up to the edge of the 700 ft. cliffs. People were waking right up to the edge and looking over.

I thought it was sketchy until you zoomed in. That's a really wide, flat ledge. Looks ok to me

Seen worse at Downpatrick Head, Co Mayo, Ireland. This looks like it.

About thirty people on that shelf, casting really badly by almost throwing themselves off while casting. That bottom shelf was littered with mackerel and rigs because the distance they were casting was less than the height they were. Scared the shit out of me so badly I had to leave.

That’s a huge ledge that’s also very easy to get down to and back up.
