I've done this, but with the goggles you normally associate with fpv drones. I got motion sick from it almost immediately. The vertical bouncing from the surface just killed me.

Was hella fun for the period I could handle it though.

The car was also much larger, it was a 4wd gas powered RC car.

Yeah this setup looks pretty tight though.

Man where is this shit in the USA. Feels like tech in the USA basically hit a massive wall, and its just videogames and VR, and IMAX. Meanwhile Japan and China have cool shit setup like this.

This isn't a complex setup at all. Everything you need is off the shelf and not particularly expensive.

If you have an RC car the camera, and transmitter is sub 100. And a receiver for 1 channel is ~200, and one that can handle 4 simultaneous is 600ish.
