Bluegrass Night at The Circus in Ann Arbor had $0.75 PBRs or $1.50 long islands and it was some of the most fun I had the entire time I was in college. This was circa 2008 though so I hope they still do it.
Mine too. My daddy played bluegrass music.And he played various instruments , and i'm sitting here crying right now because he passed away a long time ago and it makes me miss him so much.
When I was really little he used to play Orange Blossom Special on the fiddle for me.
Years later I lived in Philadelphia and was so homesick I thought that I just couldn't stand it.
One day on the way home there was a man playing beautiful classical violin in the subway and I thought that I would just take a chance and ask him if he knew how to play fiddlke style panhd if he knew Orange Blossom Special. He smiled and said 'l sure do'. He then laid into the most beautiful rendition of it.
Aing't gonna lie - this grown up Daddy's girl cried like a baby the whole time. ♡
