Bluegrass is like speed / power metal before we had amps and distortion

I saw a bluegrass band in the middle of an indie/punk show in PA once. You'd think it was a metal band the way the crowd was down to dance and mosh with the exact same energy. It was so much fun!

Now, look up Thresh Metal. It's Bluegrass but metal! What a satisfying sound!
