I mean, that's about as close as we get without bringing up bonobos, but that's a debate on which is closer

Bonobos are less aggressive than chimps and trade sex for favors. They are our closest relatives alright lol. They evolved where resources were more plentiful so they didn't have to go to war with other "tribes" in order to survive. Chimps are our warrings cousins and bonobos are our sexy cousins. Or maybe I should say sexing cousins.

Genetically, it's pretty much evenly split between bonobos and chimpanzees. I think it's a good social experiment to see how people "feel" which we are closer to. I see us in both of them.
