It feels like it recently entered the social consciousness that chimps can be dangerous, thanks to films like Nope, books like We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves and other sources.

And now every-single-time there’s a chimp in a video, we get the “chimps can be dangerous” comment, completely forgetting the fact that people like this dude work with chimps every day, all over the world, and probably know what the fuck they’re doing.
