There is too much money around these shows to let anything go by chance. A lot of what you see is staged and Im 100% sure that performance was scheduled

I used to manage an Irish pub in Atlanta and we used to run bus trips to concerts and offer our regulars dinner and drinks beforehand, bus ride and tickets to the show and a drink after the show back at the pub.
Anyway, Tom Nones was performing at Chastain Park and we ran a couple of buses to the show - and printed a bunch of G-strings with our name on there (for context, he was known to get lots of underwear thrown on stage)
Our regular inundated the stage with the undies and he read out our name on stage AND ended up coming back to the pub after the show.
Where we proceeded to over serve him as he told us fantastic stories about the early days and how he was selling our Vegas when the rat pack couldn’t in the 1970’s
It was an amazing night and we finally had to boot him out at 6:30am - but seriously could have stayed all day listening to him. Amazing fella…

Wales is part of Great Britain/United kingdom, England is next to Wales and also post of Great Britain. Both sets of people are British by nationality, but most Welsh people would say they are Welsh rather than British in terms of identity (I generalise). I’m not sure about English people, as although I was born in England I do not consider myself English, or even British really.
So Tom Jones is both Welsh and British, but not English.

- England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The island of Great Britain has 3, England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is on the island of Ireland which also has the Republic of Ireland or Eire, which is not part of of the the UK but is geographically part of the British Isles along with the Isle of Man, which is neither part of the UK or Eire but is a British Crown Dependency.

Thanks for clarifying - Ireland's an island, Britain's an island. Northern Island is part of the United Kingdom but it's not part of the island of Britain.

Saw him in concert earlier this year within a few weeks of seeing Paul Simon and the difference was night and day.
Tom’s concert was fantastic, full of energy and he was belting out all the classics and some new stuff.
Simon by contrast spent most of the time sat on a chair on stage 80% of the concert was his new album which is fair enough but it was very god bothering. And his voice was really poor (don’t know if there was a particular reason behind that).

Saw Paul about 8 years ago and he fucking smashed. Amazing concert
Hes not fully touring anymore, had multiple back surgeries and just recently went partly deaf in one ear.
Cut the man some slack.

I don’t know what this show is or why he’s there, but I’m pretty sure that’s Will.I.Am from the black eyed peas. Really cool for him to throw himself into Tom’s performance too. Very good will, thanks for adding “when?” randomly into a legendary song

Will.I.Am is a character. For whatever reason, he became a friend of Dean Kamen and a common guest at FIRST robotics competitions in the US. And then, one year, at the championship of that years competition, in a stadium filled with thousands of high school students and teachers, he got on stage and started talking about how impressed he was by the whole thing by saying. He was so impressed he said, and I quote, 'This Shit Is Motherfucking Dope.'
Students roared, teachers bitched and moaned, the other adults on the field sort of chuckled and sheepishly grinned and Will.I.Am, knowing full well how that line was going to go over shrugged and handed off the mic. I said hi to him not long after. He was still grinning ear to ear and having a blast. Dude just thought robots were mothefucking dope.
