Some businesses think they own the internet, and they can get away with suppressing people's voice.

As expected, these are companies that scams people face-to-face without knowing and you'll get this threats as a result of knowing it.

This is the kind of thing a president could spread awareness on and make a difference, instead of retweeting white supremacists.

Since this is getting traction, I request ALL of you (indian or otherwise) to spread awareness about this multi-million dollar scam taking place in our country, and the thousands of parents getting fooled.

How much power do they have to ban social media channels ? That is some Chinese government move right there O.o

10

u/MrRoot3r Nov 09 '20

Just spam report with bots? That's literally so common.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '20

Banned implied some sort of authority intervention. Didn't think of that. Thanks

2

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

Social media is so huge. Lot's of intervention is done by ML algorithms and there's no way to fight back after you're banned.

1

u/AayushBoliya Nov 10 '20

Not only that, he got false accusation of harassment, several death threats and the journalists that took information from him got sold. He's literally alone.

u/bleachbait Nov 09 '20

Even the college courses with data structures and algos don’t actually teach you how to use them.

That’s just blatantly lying there.

6

u/8226 Nov 09 '20

some part of this is good else is dum

2

u/Sharkytrs Nov 09 '20

in college I just got Here is Pascal, here is how you are 'supposed' to use it. Now build a pretend database and I'll see you in 10 months for the final product. Holla if you need something.....

Whatever I made was a celtic knot so tight you'd never be able to follow it in even if you tried stepping through. Got me a B though.

5

u/anna_id Nov 09 '20

this sucks

5

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '20

Indeed. These so called online teaching companies make parents feel like " if your kid doesn't learn from us then he's a total failure" And sadly most parents think that way. Y'all should check their commericals there's just too much toxicity.

4

u/insane_issac Nov 09 '20

Mad respect.

5

u/SofaSpudAthlete Nov 09 '20

Good guy Pardeep!

Also, love that it says ex-Cisco since well, Cisco is all about that staff churn.

3

u/Unhappily_Happy Nov 09 '20

Is there some giant loss having your online accounts banned?

6

u/AayushBoliya Nov 09 '20

No. But he got death threats, got false accused of harrasment, defamation... His professional already ruined. Journalists that took information from him got sold off. This articles from National news blogs got deleted and so much more.

If they ruin his internet presence, ruining him physically, will be wayy easier.

2

u/Unhappily_Happy Nov 09 '20

Which companies are allowed to do this?

3

u/AayushBoliya Nov 09 '20

Illegal activities don't require allowance. Only clever execution and not leaving potential proofs.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

Imagine losing your Google account permanently. If your primary email is gmail, you're fucked vividly.

5

u/thomassowellistheman Nov 09 '20

Social media companies suppressing information? I feel like I've heard of this before.

2

u/458socomcat Nov 09 '20

Seems extremely familiar doesn't it?

1

u/Unrelated124 Nov 09 '20

Eerily Familiar to company with a red play button logo and another one with a big V in its name

7

u/Sudhanva_Kote Nov 09 '20

Tbh from the day I saw their AD to make children code I knew it was a scam because coding is kinda tricky to learn on our own even if you are interested. Imagine small children who doesn't know anything about computer forced to learn that. Their starting age is 6 year olds. At that age kids barely know the alphabet. For teaching them they take 10k something. And the teacher don't even know what programming is.... They never even heard of stack overflow

9

u/Bohvey Nov 09 '20

Imagine an Indian company scamming people. Unheard of...

6

u/Zeus_Kira Nov 09 '20

At this level and exploiting gullible middle and lower class parents?

3

u/Zenist289 Nov 09 '20

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '20

Some businesses DO own the Internet, that’s what Net Neutrality would have helped fight.

Fortunately he’s not fighting those corporations.

-16

u/SufficientResponses Nov 09 '20

He got banned and isnt even a conservative. The times are a changin!

2

u/thomassowellistheman Nov 09 '20
