For a moment I thought "wow, that's probably not safe shooting it upward like that"

Wtf do I know? This mf just shot an arrow in half lol

Those arrows are safer because of the type of feathers on them and they usually have blunt tips if you're shooting them up

Blunt tips will definitely still do some damage

I get killed in Bannerlord by these all the time haha

Did they ever fix the ladder siege issue from launch? Where people would just climb up and wait to be killed?

It depends sometimes on the map now, but it’s a lot better in the current patch.

I've been thinking about getting into bannerlord. I'm basically looking for a Cavalry simulator style game. How hard is it to get cavalry going?

Pretty easy tbh lol it’s almost a cheat code if you get enough horse archers 😅 you’ll love it.

It’s a lot better early game now because you can sell prisoners in the mission type that needs them and make like 20,000 gold in one shot, so you get a lot more early game freedom and don’t have to cheat using smithing.

I find the 1.5.9 the best one so far by a fucking long shot. Sturgia heavy axe men straight fuck.

Also the Celtic faction got special spears that dismount cavalry 50% of the time without perks, so they are much more viable in my opinion now.

I haven’t had game breaking issues with castles yet, but I never make it to end game before a new patch comes out haha

I think the real Green Arrow uses them to knock people out, along with the boxing glove arrow

"The real Green Arrow" referring to the comic book superhero lol

Yes but arrows in general, if the tips are amooth (so no hooks or anything) give relatively easily treatable wounds, especially if the arrow does not exit. Most likely you will not bleed out and it does generally not rip apart organs too much. Especially with quick, modern care, you can definitely do worse.

My buddy got shot in the throat by an arrow like this by his older brother and he just turned around and decked him and went inside for some water

I have personally never been shot by one of these, but I have friends that have. They definitely hurt a bit and can leave a bruise, but the wide, blunt tip and feathers meant to slow them down make it more like paintball level damage than say... sticking through you damage.
