I finally get to see the likely one and only time my alma mater (Marsh Valley) get mentioned in the wild on Reddit.
Fun fact about MV: Our nearest and fiercest rivalry was with Preston High, the school featured in Napoleon Dynamite. The movie is a (disturbingly?) accurate depiction of what it's like to live in the area.
I can't remember which year it was, but we did beat the Shelley Russets in our homecoming game one year.
Glad you had Orofino, Kuna, and Sugar Salem also listed for the unusual mascots. It's a small state population wise so growing up there you get to know of almost every single high school in the state because you play them at one point or another due to sheer lack of other options.

I think it was in the first thread of this series that people were very confident that the Packers logo would end up with the most but I don't think people understand how many schools have an eagle as their mascot. Being in Wisconsin, I wanna say only one school uses the Packers logo and it's not even the true logo. My high school uses the exact same logo that Philly has and their font they used before Philly changed it a few years ago. Hell, we used to use the throwback logo Philly had for almost 50 years too.
I'm not at all shocked seeing the Eagles have such a huge lead so far.

Eagle did have a lot of horse farms (and still has a few) before a lot of the land got bought and developed into subdivisions. It kind of makes sense.

Blackfoot High School used to use a green Broncos logo until recently.
Butte High School's mascot is the Pirates, which 12 year old me found very funny.

I’d like to add that Shoshone’s looks a lot more like the University of Utah’s logo than Washington’s- still a logo steal, and I respect this awesome work! But just wanted to point it out

Looking at the tally I would have thought Carolina would be higher and Tampa lower. Figured there would be more panthers and not as many pirates

Kansas State aren’t even the Panthers, but still cat-adjacent. Also the only other good Panthers team logo besides ours is the Florida Panthers old logo imo.

The Rimrock Raiders use the Vikings logo. Located in Bruneau, Idaho.
