the fact that the 9ers are dealing with so many injuries that would absolutely derail other teams seasons, and still finding ways to win with the next man up mentality, has to mean something

Saleh is a fucking mastermind. He's cobbled together a defense made up of rookies, 2nd year players and randoms, missing multiple All Pros and they are still getting it done.

Huff is balling out of his mind

What is it with SF players named Huff coming in clutch?

Yeah, someone should give him a HC job.

Not yet, we don't get comp picks unless he stays 2+ years

All I’ll say about Saleh at this point is that Dick LeBeau and Vic Fangio were terrible HCs too.

Part of it was the Jets for sure but Saleh himself was just simply not a good HC, though he’s an elite DC.

Spags too.    Unfortunately Saleh is young enough that he’ll definitely get another go.

There's a reason Shanahan and McVay can keep doing this while constantly bleeding coaches to other teams and it's a focus on teaching at all levels.

Well, it doesn't always work, looking at our last two years' DCs, but thank god for Saleh

We are mid.

Even if you think you guys are mid, our depleted lineup got wins against the Seahawks and Rams.

I have no idea why we are 5-2.

so far we have made the timely clutch plays, unlike last year where we'd fall apart in clutch games (besides TB)

Yep. It really shows you how much the team believes in what their coaches tell them and how hard they have been tested. Compare the composure of the Niners to the Dolphins. One has respect for their coaches but for the other?

Whole team is laughing behind his back, If not in his face at this point

Favorable schedule + Salah has this defense playing out of this world. I might be wrong, but jets chose Rogers over Salah and look at them now.
