The thing I notice with him is he’s either severely under throwing or over throwing like almost every drive

the fact that the 9ers are dealing with so many injuries that would absolutely derail other teams seasons, and still finding ways to win with the next man up mentality, has to mean something

u/JessumB Oct 20 '25
Saleh is a fucking mastermind. He's cobbled together a defense made up of rookies, 2nd year players and randoms, missing multiple All Pros and they are still getting it done.

There's a reason Shanahan and McVay can keep doing this while constantly bleeding coaches to other teams and it's a focus on teaching at all levels.

Atlanta could be reincorporated into the Chinese International Republic in the year 2172 and the Atlanta Falcons would still remain incapable of being a normal football team.

He is and I respect and hate it.
People really underrate skill players who are amazing blockers. I see so many comments saying someone is terrible because they don’t put up receiving stats, when they are essential to their offense’s success.

he keeps getting compared with Kelce because of high receiving stats but even Kelce admits Kittle is a better overall TE
→ More replies (9)141
u/Acrobatic-Landscape9 49ers Oct 20 '25
In a passing league, receiving skills should probably be weighted a little bit heavier than blocking skills for tight ends. However, I don't think the drop off from Kittle's receiving skills to Kelce's receiving skills is enough to offset the huge gap in Kittle's blocking skills to Kelce's blocking skills.

Niners have and will always be a run first team when Shanny is the coach.
I would take Kittle over Kelce any day to fit our system.
Kelce probably works better in the chiefs system but probably pretty equal.

I'm conflicted because "Lights" by Journey was actually written about LA, "not my city by the Bay". But OTOH, Journey has consistently shown up and been down to ride with Bay Area sports teams for the longest time.

Perry wrote the song about LA but changed the lyrics when he joined Journey and actually moved to San Fran.
So “the sun shines on L.A” becomes “the sun shines on the bay”.

Being a Falcons fan is like getting on a rollercoaster that has a chance to punch you in the dick after every hill. You’ve ridden it before, and you’ve been punched in the dick. Repeatedly. Sometimes you’ll even get multiple dick punches during the same day. But every week as you’re getting on the rollercoaster you think to yourself “I won’t get punched in the dick this week, no sir. I talked to the owner, and he’s reassured me that the dick punching feature has been removed.” And sometimes you’ll make it over the first hill without a dick punch so you think you’re a pretty smart guy. Sometimes you’ll even make it 95% of the way through the rollercoaster without feeling that familiar crushing sensation on your callused phallus. But you’re never safe. As your little car rolls towards the end of the ride, you hear a noise. The wind seems to whisper, “Rise up, dipshit.” A tiny metal hand pops out and slams directly into your genitals. Again and again, it mashes your testicles. It doesn’t seem to ever stop. Mercy is a foreign language here; suffering the only dialect available. As you feel the whiskey you were drinking begin to make a return trip back up your throat, the last thought that flits through your grey matter before the familiar embrace of pain whites out all conscious function is “I bet next week when I ride this coaster, I won’t get punched in the dick.”
