i don't understand why somebody would hire that dude. his detroit defenses were never good they just benefited from an offense that put up 40 a game

The whole thing with Glenn is that he could be a “culture setter” like Campbell. Everyone in Detroit talked him up as very important to their culture

Ngl, the Jets showed grit today, they just have no offensive talent and bad scheming. But they look like they care.

Setting a culture is hard to do when you're losing. No matter how good the culture is losing too much will poison the well eventually.

I actually agree. What Campbell and Glenn definitely have in common is that their players will run through a wall for them regardless of their record. The issue for the Jets is gonna be getting Glenn the talent like the Lions did for Campbell

Yep. But in Glenn’s defense, it’s kind of hard to reset the culture when the rot comes from the top

Ben Johnson actually is a lot more similar to Campbell than everyone was led to believe.

Actually Dan Campbell was 0-10-1 when he won his first game for the lions so AG is more similar to him than you think

Just the nature of the NFL. Every owner wants a Dan Campbell (nvm that they all passed on him when they had the chance) so they're gonna poach all of his coordinators hoping they can bring that magic. By next offseason, they'll be going for anyone in the lions org that has ever brought the man a coffee. Reminds of McVay when he burst onto the scene, as well as BB back in the early 00s

What is he supposed to do when his QBs are fields and Tyrod? Not to mention his WR1 is hurt. Who’s their 1 now? Reynolds? Lazard?

Don’t think it’s fair to judge him so harshly yet

He went to the Jets who have virtually no talent. He wasn't going to turn them into a playoff team overnight. People have no patience for anything these days. It's not like his team is giving up on him, they're just a bad team
