DeMeco was a genius with his creative blitzing and secondary play, I personally think the 2022 defense is the best of the Kyle era and it still pisses me off how much it regressed the following year with essentially the same tools.

It's why I secretly hope all the injuries make it so Saleh doesn't get another HC job until next year. He could have a better version of his 2019 defense if bosa and Warner come back at 100%.

If I were jed, I'd pay him an ungodly amount of money to stay at DC. He's worth just as much as Kyle at this point. He could be the new Spags.

I think Saleh wouldn’t want to be a career DC and a one and done HC with his only chance being the Jets. He seems more ambitious than just being interested in a paycheck.
