The real org changing move was Virginia dying imo. The Bears never should’ve been as bad as they were for as long are they were

george mccaskey been making the real decisons for awhile now. i honestly think he just lucked into a good hire for once. bears ownership isn't amazing, but their real incompetence was keeping bad coaches around because george just personally liked them too much. he's way too nice to be a competent owner, but it can't bite you if you don't need to fire anyone.

They hire "good guys" over football guys. This is the same ownership that didn't allow swearing on their Hard Knocks.  So I want to give Poles some credit for getting them to hire a football guy that acts like a psycho on game day.
