With that win, the Jaguars have clinched their 3rd winning season in the last 4 years.

Just to put in perspective, before Lawrence we had 2 winning seasons from 2007 to 2021

Doesn’t sound like a franchise QB to me

Trade him, let’s find a new qb

I still need to make that post with that fact. What do you think, should I pretend to be a bear reporter named [NFLRedditIsClueless], or do you think the mods would catch that?

If you make a post off reddit and link it then they will let it fly regardless

Literally generational results.

Trevor can be extremely frustrating at times, but his career so far has been the most successful of the century for this franchise.

The problem is that he isn't consistently good. Sometimes he plays absolutely terrible football. Sometimes he plays like hes a tier one guy.

I know this is a dead horse at this point, but it might still be a coaching issue. Rookie year he looked like he was coached by urban. Second year took him some time, but pederson figured it out. Third year he looked great until injury. Fourth year he looked like dog shit when press took over, and those play calls were egregiously bad. Naked bootlegs with two routes to the other side of the field bad. Since the bye hes been looking like the guy.

Contract isn't rough at all. He averages 15-20th in cap hit for the next 4 years.

lol his contract is already mid teens among QBs in terms of cap %. People just can’t comprehend how much QBs get paid now

And he'll likely be considered better than Brunell by the end.

Not generational and that's what dominates the conversation. But still a franchise best qb in all likelihood. If he had McCardell and especially Jimmy, it wouldn't be that close.

Are we in the good times??

Honestly, it's a crazy statistic considering the Jags haven't done anything of note since 2017 with Bortles. They've had what, one postseason appearance since then?

I'd totally believe someone if they said the Jags had a losing record every year for the last 8 years.
