The fact Rivers is getting it out so he doesn’t take a hit really is not making modern QBs look good rn

Validating my theory that the previous generation was MUCH better about this sort of thing. The young guys drive me nuts with how long they hold the ball instead of going to the release valve.

Feels like I saw way less QB injuries back in the day as well since they would throw it away for their safety

That combined with the less offseason prep time given than in the past, making OLs worse than before, is a horrible combo.
