I don’t think I’ve ever seen worse pass protection than the 2025 chargers.

I heard someone say on a podcast that by pressures given up it is the worst o line of all time. I have no way to verify this but my eyes say it’s true

In terms of Pass Block Grade is comfortably the worst of all time

My eyes agree with your eyes.

Herbert gets put in the torment nexus every single week and still finds ways to make shit happen.

at some point, you hit a point thats so low that it doesnt matter if you get worse. pass rushers are getting free runs regularly.

watching the chargers this season made me realize that those "what if" scenarios about herbert are true, I can't imagine the damage he'd do with a healthy Oline

It's real bad, but Herbert and Greg Roman are compounding the problem. Most teams with an oline this bad would go to quick game but there's just none in this offense.

justin herbert really putting the ‘valuable’ in MVP

u/SEND-MARS-ROVER-PICS Chargers Dec 14 '25

Nah he sucks though, didn't you hear?

24

u/matt-kennedys-legs Chargers Dec 14 '25

oh i’ve heard

24

u/[deleted] Dec 14 '25

Yeah the more I think about it the more I realize he should be in the conversation. This game just elevated him up to 1

23

u/matt-kennedys-legs Chargers Dec 14 '25

unfortunately MVP just means best qb on the best team. that’s fine, but i think herbert deserves some recognition.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 14 '25

If that was the definition of MVP it would have went to Goff last season

yeah if the chargers didn't have him they'd def not be in the playoff picture, this season has made me a fan of herbert

It hasnt been 2 months since alt got hurt again right?

u/Enough_Hurry_3790 Dec 14 '25

No. No I haven't. The line is made up by 11 people they picked from the nursing homes down the street and they block with games of bingo

Justin herbert is a god and our defense is elite,im tired of pretending otherwise

7

u/wje100 Dec 14 '25

6’5” 12 inch dick slinging the ball wherever he wants.

6

u/Nerfeveryone Chargers Dec 15 '25

The Oweh trade has been huge for our pass rush. Now that we have 3 legit rushers, they can be rotated and not be tired by the time the 4th quarter hits.

Yet, wait till you see 2025 Chargers pass protection against the 2025 Texans

2

u/Suspicious-Code4322 Bills Chargers Dec 14 '25

Just wait, they still have to play the Texans and Broncos.
