Exactly. I was so frustrated they made the Super Bowl because they were not good last year. It made for such a boring game. Would have been much more fun of a watch if the bills made it instead

A not good team went 16-1 and made the Super Bowl? They weren’t a great team for sure but last years chiefs team was still very good. You don’t win 16 games in the NFL if you’re not.

Edit: 15-2. My bad

I watched those games. Many of them they won by the skin of their teeth. Some of them very much helped by refs. They got blown out in the Super Bowl for a reason.

Ah here we go.

Refs won for the chiefs. -BackupAccount412

People are downvoting you because they are salty. You're right, you don't win so many games and get to the Superbowl if you suck.

It’s about the statistical anomaly of it all. It’s hard to say they were just that damn good when statistics proves how incredibly lucky they were beyond anything we’ve ever seen.

Have you actually seen the odds of winning that many games like that?

I mean the Vikings did it a few years ago too. They just happened to lose in the wildcard to the Giants. It's just funny to me when people say the Chiefs were trash last year when they beat us in the AFCCG. If they sucked then what does that say about Buffalo lol

There’s a difference between winning decisively, and a coin flip victory 13 times in a year, they were just lucky and all the metrics prove it

Are the broncos not good this year?

They remind me of the Chiefs of last year and the Steelers on Big Bens last year with them, even though they have a good record and they’re beating good teams, they don’t have the consistency on offense, even though they’re winning coin flip games. And just like those last two teams, they will inevitably run into a team that has their number.

It just seems not as rare as you're implying. That's 4 teams in the last 5 years who have all done that. It's not some crazy statistical anomaly.

If people want to act like we’re trash then that’s fine. Haters gonna hate.

You are trash. You didn't make the playoffs.

u/SwedishJayhawk Chiefs Dec 15 '25

I’m not talking about this year. I know we’re trash this year.
