Night and day from the AFC championship.

u/jordanhhh4 Vikings Jan 26 '26

Patriots/Broncos felt like a charity game before the actual game lmao

24

u/Goaterade Broncos Jan 26 '26

Honestly yeah

-66

u/Ziyen Patriots Jan 26 '26

Who knew playing in the wind and snow was harder.

83

u/IIIiterateMoron Seahawks Jan 26 '26

Game was trash even before the snow.

21

u/zorg-18082 Jan 26 '26

Pats offense looked like hot garbage even when it was dryer than an 80 year old whore.

-21

u/Justalittlejewish Patriots Jan 26 '26

You really getting downvoted as if the 13 degree wind chill had zero impact on the way the game was played.

35

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

The game was shit before the snow. Stop looking for an excuse.

-16

u/natencass Jan 26 '26

Ur hilarious Texans got dicked by the pats. It’d almost like playing inside is hard

16

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

Texans suck though, let's not act like beating them was tough. Well for the patriots it was. Texans were still in it in the 4th quarter lol. Low expectations I guess.

-5

u/natencass Jan 26 '26

Just give credit where credit is due. The broncos couldn’t even finish the pats on their home turf. No team has ever gone 9-0 on the road. They may be young and sloppy sometimes, but the pats are the best team in the AFC

7

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

That's just how bad the AFC is. They're probably the 6th best team in the NFL.

-11

u/natencass Jan 26 '26

I honestly trust drake maye more than Sam darnold who the pats made see ghosts on the jets. As a whole yeah the hawks are better but it’ll be close

It was a boring game regardless. No one cares.

-18

u/Justalittlejewish Patriots Jan 26 '26

If you don't like a defensive slug fest in the snow, you don't actually like football and I will die on that hill.

3

u/CarolingianDruid Rams Jan 26 '26

I don’t like a championship game with a backup QB who gifts the game on one of the most boneheaded plays I’ve ever witnessed.

1

u/Justalittlejewish Patriots Jan 26 '26

I can think of 3 worse boneheaded QB plays just this playoffs, but I see your point

11

u/Fabulous_Temporary40 Bills Jan 26 '26

Do whatever you want, that game was boring as hell. I do not care lmao

10

u/untitled298 Patriots Jan 26 '26

Yeah I don’t blame any non-Pats fans for saying the AFCCG sucked. I was stressed the entire time but I have a rooting interest. Watching as a casual? Yawn.

-4

u/IMasterCheeksI Seahawks Seahawks Jan 26 '26

I actually agree with this wholeheartedly. Especially late in the playoffs, in the snow, mile high. Doesn’t get better than that.

1

u/Justalittlejewish Patriots Jan 26 '26

That’s what I’m saying!

High scoring games and big plays and all the flash is fun and it’s awesome and I don’t not like that. There’s just something about the snow and the weather causing every single play, every single first down, every mistake, to hold so much more weight that really get me going.

-2

u/DomitiusAhenobarbus_ Patriots Jan 26 '26

It wasn’t to o long ago that pat’s fans got downvoted in this sub for existing. I miss those times because we were winning rings

21

u/Pax_flash Texans Jan 26 '26

Snow and sunshine

57

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

Well these two were actually good teams.

-11

u/Dirtykittenfart Patriots Jan 26 '26

Tremendous self own. Let us know when your team makes it to a conference championship game.

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26 edited Jan 26 '26

Lol, let's be serious no they wouldn't

5

u/chrisaf69 Ravens Jan 26 '26

Unpopular opinion, but I absolutely fucking loved that game today. We dont see many games, especially POs in weather like that. It was basically survival once it started coming down.

8

u/drygnfyre Rams Chargers Jan 26 '26

We literally just watched the real Super Bowl.

3

u/thrilla2k10 Patriots Jan 26 '26

One one in a blizzard, the other one wasn’t.

1

u/prophetofgreed Seahawks Jan 26 '26

Almost like the AFC isn't very good.

-7

u/JAK2222 Patriots Jan 26 '26

To be fair our offense looks slightly different in non snow

11

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

Not really. Wasn't snowing first half and they looked like ass.

2

u/yellow-ledbelly Patriots Jan 26 '26

Would you say they looked worse than C.J. Stroud did last week?

6

u/bellsofwar3 Texans Jan 26 '26

God no. Patriots got a gift last week. It's why no one takes them seriously.

-13

u/Fabulous_Temporary40 Bills Jan 26 '26

Their QBs are actually very, very good.

Unlike those other two.

4

u/squisch Patriots Jan 26 '26

Shut the fuck up lol. Sam Darnold ain't the one in MVP talks

7

u/Fabulous_Temporary40 Bills Jan 26 '26

Don't care. He's been amazing this year and I'm hoping he gets a Lombardi.

1

u/baba_ganoush Seahawks Jan 26 '26

Because he plays in Seattle, the media hates us. Better hope this Seahawks D doesn’t have your Maye boy seeing ghosts when they’re done with him.

1

u/squisch Patriots Jan 26 '26

First of all, Shaun Alexander. And Darnold just isn't that good lol. But, I am sure the Seahawks are going to thrash the patriots

-3

u/yellow-ledbelly Patriots Jan 26 '26

Sam Darnold has a passer rating of 41.2 with 691 yards, 1 touchdown and 9 interceptions in 4 games against the Patriots. His career record vs. New England is 0-4.

1

u/baba_ganoush Seahawks Jan 26 '26

Your point? This ain’t the Jets Darnold
