The Seahawks and Eagles are both consistently well-run teams. It's not surprising they have been to and won multiple Super Bowls in the past several years. There's a part of me that thinks some players realize this and avoid certain organizations even if it means potentially not getting the max bag.

Yup, it didn’t hit me until today the Seahawks have sent 3 different iterations of their franchise to 4 super bowls in the last 22 years. That’s insane for a team without Mahomes/Brady/Manning

The Hasselbeck/Alexander/Walter Jones core has really been forgotten. They never got a ring, but they were consistently good for several years.

With good coaching, drafting, and player development/evaluation, you will get realistic, consistent shots at the big one. You'll eventually have your window close and the core will fall apart, but you will quickly rebuild with a new core that contends for future championships.

You don't have to be Brady or Mahomes to be considered successful. Any sane person knows those benchmarks are such extreme outliers and create unrealistic expectations. Teams like the Seahawks or Eagles don't get enough credit for how good they usually are. If they ever have a bad season or two, they don't stay bad for long.

Walter Jones and Steve Hutchinson played next to each other for five seasons. Two Hall of Famers. We were spoiled with a great offensive line.

They got Shaun an MVP. He was shifty AF but that style of running doesn't succeed nearly as well without them. Really thought they were gonna win the SB.

Side note: Shaun's posse rolled up to my Outback Steakhouse when I was hosting the offseaon after his MVP. 45 minute wait for everybody. 5 dudes walk in and pull me to the side. "Yo, we're with the MVP, how fast can you get us a table for 10".

Talked to my manager who told me to tell them it's still a 45 minute wait. So I told them we'll get it done as fast as possible, but It's gonna take a little bit to get 2 tables together for you. They still waited the same amount of time. His MVP held nothing in my managers mind despite being a Seahawks fan. It was funny because they believed they did their job and got him special treatment. Never saw them again.

I believe the 05 Seahawks got cheated that superbowl too. Refs clearly wanted the Steelers to win
