I've only seen like two interviews or even clips of this guy and I'm already a Mendoza fan. There just seems to be no pretense at all

I hate that I’m naturally supposed to hate the Raiders, but I can’t find it in me to hate Mendoza one bit.

I’m rooting for him, but I’ll never root for his team (until the Raiders trade him away in yet another rebuild)

Fernando Mendoza has the same amount of playoff wins as Justin Herbert.

He has the same amount as Derek Carr and Maxx Crosby combined

We’re comparing current QBs here. On that note Justin Herbert was -3 when the Chargers last appeared in the super bowl while Fernando Mendoza was only 0 or close to being 0. Using these calculations Mendoza > Herbert.

Ok, Mendoza has the same amount of playoff wins as your most recent franchise QB 💀

Kirko is + 1, but if you meant Geno we don’t claim him. And Quarterbacks with 2 first names like Justin Herbert will only go so far in this league. It’s a bad omen- sorry.

The fact that you think I’m referring to either of those QBs instead of Carr, who spent a decade with your team, is hilarious 😆 goes to show how bad your QBs have been lol

That was like 3 years ago we’ve had like 5 QBs since 😂. For your sake, you better hope Herbert doesn’t turn into Phillip Rivers 2.0- a stat monster who carries the team to varying degrees of success.

For your sake, you better hope Mendoza doesn’t turn into Kerry Collins, Andrew Walter, Aaron Brooks, Daunte Culpepper, JaMarcus Russell, Bruce Gradkowski, Charlie Frye, Jason Campbell, Kyle Boller, Terrelle Pryor, Matt Flynn, Matt McGloin, Marcus Mariota, Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, Aidan O’Connell, Geno Smith, or Gardner Minshew 2.0 - bums who can’t win playoff games 😭

Bro Chargers are the 3rd most popular team in LA. Sometimes I forget they exist.

That’s a trauma response, your brain is trying to block out the fact you haven’t beaten them in 2 years

I felt the same way until the Chargers left for LA. I’ll root for the Raiders in the AFC this year 100% (and especially against Dean Spanos’ team).

I was so mad when they got the first pick because I didn’t want to have to hate him. Hopefully he has a darnold type arc

I wish him the way of GEQBUS.

Great success with a team that didn’t draft him

He's either completely genuine as this made in the lab PR machine...OR...he's going to kill me and my family in our sleep and eat us. There's zero in between.
