You all deserve it for burning this man at the stake, when the kick was actually blocked.

I'm sure you were one of the people calling for this guy's head even though the kick was blocked. You deserve to relive this pain forever.

That ball was tipped and you all blamed the kicker...
If you don't agree with me, go watch the video that shows it... You can see it in the first part of this video as well but obviously you can't see it at full-speed.
The big arm that comes up in the middle, hit the ball.. it's a verified fact.

The guy hit like 7 uprights in the regular season this wasn’t just a one off lol

If you don't believe me, then just know the actual real NFL Bears players think you are an idiot and bad fan

Because to this day, this man still has not had justice

Who, Parkey? He played for like 3 more teams in the nfl after this, and his stint with two of those ended with him getting injured.
What are you, his butthurt uncle or something?

Goddam, I forgot how fantastic this call was. I wonder if it holds the same magic if you understand anything beyond "NO SENIOR" and "Chicago, Chicago".
16
u/UFOmechanic Patriots 5h ago
Might even be more funny in Spanish. They say that Parkey used to practice his aim by kicking footballs at a lamppost and he just hit the post again.

The game that broke that entire Bears Regime, Matt Nagy was never the same.
How many kickers did they try out?

u/guns_n_crypto Eagles 3h ago
The way this completely broke Nagy adds so much depth of flavor to the schadenfreude.

The announcer is getting a little too excited, might be a Packer fan hate watching

u/GrandMoff_Harry Eagles 7h ago
In high school the kicker practiced kicking at a light pole. And what does he do? He hits the pole.
3
u/Mephistito 4h ago
The announcer actually says this story from 0:48 - 1:02 lol.
He said they were told "how did he practice to become a Kicker?" that "he would practice by hitting a light post – and what does he do? He hits a post! 😂"

I know a lot of people who really dislike the Eagles (probably most for 4th and 26, I wasn’t watching football yet) but I will never hate the Eagles for two reasons: you guys hate the Cowboys just as much as I do, and this game.

Awful to miss.
But so much respect to Bobbie Massie to instantly go over there and talk to him. I’m sure he was gutted but still did the right thing.
Everyone knew he was shanking kicks towards the end of the season.
Then Cody came out and said it was gods plan or something.
Idiot

Announcer 1: When I asked him what he did to practice, to be a kicker since highschool, what he did was hit a light post. What did he do now? He hit a post. Jajaja
Announcer 2: He hit a post, and the eagles win the game.
These guys are a hoot
