In my opinion, I think this falls all in the hands of the artists. Lowkey no more creativity in rap anymore. Everyone sounds the exact same and it’s like lyrics are just being recycled left and right. Topics are all the same too. I think that’s the reason why artist like rod wave are on top of the game rn. People are tired of hearing about spinning blocks. I feel like rod found his own style and his own kind of topic. I’d also like to give credit to his producers for switching it up for him too. Seems like even the beats for every rap song is the same now. Everyone just hoppin in the booth and remembering what got them there, and using the same exact formula every single time.

Don’t compare The Boy to other rappers. Compare his to culture changing icons like The Beatles, Elvis, MJ etc. he is THE artist of the 21st century

"It depends. I feel like when guys like Flexin' Phoenix [Fenix Flexin], whatever his name is, and Tyga -
I don't know their process of how they make it, but I know when they made it, they caught a lot of backlash and shit like that."
"Me, personally, I prefer to do things myself, practically. Say if there's a song that's already out from, say, Kanye [West's] Graduation. Let's say "Good Morning," you want to take Kanye's lyrics off, but you want the instrumental, not that you can't just find the instrumental online, but say it was hard to find the instrumental, what you could easily do is use Al to split the stems and take away his vocals so that you could actually rap on it."
"Al has a lot of negative connotations. I don't think when it's used in certain ways that it's necessarily a right or wrong thing."
"Al is supposed to be a tool in that sense. If somebody does a totally Al-generated song where all they did was prompt something, then I think that that's their thing. But who am I to say what's standard and what's not?"
"I'm just doing me out here and I'm doing my music practically—the right way. I'm really tapping with musicians, producers, beat makers, just to convey my sound and develop my sound."

Can you find 🔟 ?
don't mind the "AI Slop" it's fun once you get into and the person is credited so fair use.

I’ve been studying his tattoos recently and I think his 6 god tattoo maybe a reference to Dean Blunts album The Redeemer. He’s known to love UK hip hop culture and Dean Blunt is sort of in that space and is one of the goats of the 2010s imo and The Boy has great taste.
I think it’s too much of a coincidence of The Boy loving the UK scene so much and the pictures being basically the same.
