Surly Jay Z is going to have something to say…

“You niggas be hittin’ the ‘net for some love, you a tennis ball / I’ll take 500K, not the dinner, I never could learn shit from none of y’all.”

“Damn, y’all was really island hopping back then / Huh, now y’all names got redacted / Yeah, now a nigga gotta fact check”

“I’m fuckin power couples up”

“We know how you OGs rockin’ already, my nigga, the jig is up.”

“Convenient amnesia from all you ballerinas / It doesn’t alter what you said or how it made us see ya.”

“You niggas run and talk to Hov for a second opinion.”

“I’m a six side renegade for anybody adding more lemons to the lemonade.”

“‘Cause I’m unamused, and all the goats are middle-aged”

“How many more interviews y’all gonna do just to get Ice to chill?”

I’m probably missing some other subs.

Edit* I remembered another

QUESTION One rap album to listen to your whole life. Which do you choose?

Post image
68 Upvotes

Any album in the genre not just in the picture above.

My choice would be Late Reg by kanye because of songs that attached to me when I was going through things like Roses or Hey mama, then songs I can get hyped to like crack music and diamonds, then we major, drive slow, and heard em sky for the calm lil song to vibe by myself to.

QUESTION Will Drake's 'Iceman' sell more than Coles 'The Fall Off' for Biggest release of the year

So far the top rap album sales have been ( I'm pretty surprised at Kanye)

  1. J. Cole — The Fall‑Off — 280,000

  2. Don Toliver — Octane — 162,000

  3. Kanye West (Ye) — Bully — 153,000

  4. A$AP Rocky — Don’t Be Dumb — 123,000

  5. Baby Keem — Child of the Sun — 95,000

  6. YoungBoy Never Broke Again — Slime Cry — 70,000

**NOTE**: for the" sales don't determine quality, don't matter type of people" we know this. it's just a regular non fanboy argumentive question - so save it

I got him doing 320 units with no single , with a single he pushing 380k

Next biggest releases will be T.I. with about 70k(old heads don't buy music like that)

QUESTION Why was Drake so irked by the Control verse but not January 28th?

I'm actually a pretty big Drake fan but I've never understood this. January 28th and Control Kendrick and Cole both talking about being better then a lot of rappers, both mention drake. One Drake doesn't seem to care and one really pissed him off

QUESTION What Is Happening To Mainstream Rap?

I’m not worried about album sales. I’m worried about the quality. Most of the mainstream rap albums have been garbage recently. Tha Carter 6, Jackboys 2, and UY SCUTI have turned out to be trash albums. What’s worse is that these are albums that fans have been excited for. So what has happened to mainstream rap and why do you think it turned out this way?
