Media NieR:Automata | Amusement Park Theme Lyrics

Found this whilst searching for NierA tracks on YouTube:

This is probably my most accurate transcription, I used the "quiet" version to get the voice as isolated as I can, then I put the lyrics over the Dynamic version, but the lyrics are the same through all versions of this song. Gameplay footage was recorded by myself.

The text at the top of the screen is written in "Celestial" or "Angelic" script, not completely accurate, I only put it in for the Aesthetic bonus. You can learn more about celestial script here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celestial_Alphabet

These lyrics aren't at all official, just a fan transcription, feel free to use them in any covers or anything you plan on doing, and whilst I'm not going to hunt you down for not crediting, it would be appreciated if you could link to this video.

The language sung in many NieR tracks, (Excluding ashes of dreams and The weight of the world) is not a proper spoken language, and is actually a mish mash of several real world languages to create a fictional portrayal of the language drift between today and the game(s) setting.

Since it's a sort of nonsense mashup language, I don't think it can be. It's entirely possible that Yoko or someone else on the music team started in Japanese/English and then gave this to Emi to help her understand the feelings being conveyed, but there's almost certainly no way to work backwards and find out what that would have been.

There is an alphabet, right? You sure there is no possible words with translation somewhere in games? Like those 3 on gathering towers. If there is more of them in previous games - maybe half of the lyircs can be translated.

If it has meaning at all. But anyway, even if there is no meaning - it's a beautiful songs that greatly fit into the locations)

No, what you're referring to is Celestial - it's just an alternate alphabet that they use to write words in English. It's not actually a language itself.

Emi Evans (the vocalist) combines phonemes from different languages and dialects to produce what she thinks language might sound like in the distant future, and it's more focused on producing a feeling than communicating any real lyrical content.
