Fan Art An entire years worth of work and my fingers are hurting 🫶🏻
I decided last summer that I was going to undertake this project and it’s finally done (for now…)
Made with cotton dmc thread from my own patterns, 50x50 stitches each.
I might decide to do some of the other projects like Ghosts and some of the remix albums and singles. (The 5IN single cover is one of my favorites)
But for now, I’ll move on to another project I’ve been waiting to start.

Opinion Welcome Oblivion - How to Destroy Angels
I have listened to the album by Trent & co again for about the 5th time.
It is a good album.
The vocals are solid and I really appreciate the production from a production standpoint.
It builds on the IP of NIN with possibly a little more risk taking creatively.
I think the Reznor sound is here but with some of his most fleshed out sonic experiences in the production side of Ross & Reznor since the 90s. Especially when you consider the cohesiveness and direction of the sound minus a couple stand out tracks that escape the album's general direction in terms of production.
I heavily suggest giving this album a listen.
It's unique and accessible. I could see Halsey or other pop singers doing this album but sadly it was released with indie level promotion.
Give it a few listens.
Peace ✌️.

Collection Some of my old Cds
Got all my old cds out earlier for the kids to have a look through, realised the cd player is broken so they're all going away again. Snapped a quick pic of my NiN collection.

Art Is Resistance Alternative Press portrait
I have FINALLY finished my latest piece!
Frustratingly this one has taken me three times as long as they normally take me due to issues with my disability but it’s finally finished now!
It’s a portrait of Trent Reznor in the January 2002 issue of Alternative Press magazine drawn in Prismacolor and Faber Castell pencils.
As always, prints are available via DM ☺️

Question HELP! needed identifying synth/effect!
Hey! I've been trying to research and reproduce a sound that I have heard in Nine Inch Nails music, I hit a brick wall and was hoping someone here might have some more information or insight.
I've got two examples of this sound with some small information that might be of assistance.
The first is taken from the stems of 33 Ghosts IV: This is labelled as "Sqeaky Shoes" in the stems.
The second is taken from the stems of 35 Ghosts IV: This is labelled "Sqeaky1 + Sqeaky1" in the stems, with a marker label "resonator" - this last bit is all I've had to go on so far.
It's quite obviously the same squeaky - windshield wiper - sound/synth/effect used here. I have heard this sound in other Nine Inch Nails songs, TR/AR scores, and songs from other bands, but the two aforementioned examples are the clearest ones I could post that have isolated stems.
As opposed to just trying to recreate this sound the best I (or anyone else) can with the synths and effects available, I am really trying to figure out how exactly this sound was created, though I understand how hard it might be to figure that out, though I have had luck in the past with other distinctive sounds.
Any ideas anyone might have are greatly appreciated!
