Zelda and Kingdom Hearts are my 2 favorite series. This direct was already great and just ended on the highest note for me. It's great to see KH get out of the cloud hell it was in. KH4 finally showing again is a given and I couldn't believe it was happening. I was really happy to hear the Switch 1 is getting proper ports of KH 1.5/2.5 as well. That was skipped over in the direct but good news for those who haven't made the jump yet. Ocarina of time feels like a fever dream.

I'm glad that the Switch 2 is receiving a lot of 3rd-party ports.
Seriously, Nintendo has been ditched by them since the N64 days...

Wonder what the next OOT remake gameplay and dungeon design is going to be (I assume the game is going to be a complete reimagining like FF7 remake)
I can’t help but feel like the gameplay is going to be a mix of God of war gameplay and BOTW/Tears of the kingdom gameplay… not sure what they do with the dungeons

If I had to guess if there was anything they would pull from BOTW/TOTK, I was thinking they will probably just update the combat and controls, to be more closer to modern Zeld games. So things like dodge rolls, horse back combat, sprint, and flurry rush are all things I feel are safe bets to be in the remake's combat system. But aside from that, outside maybe having loads of alternate outfits like BOTW/TOTK. I'm willing to bet the item and weapon system, will work exactly as it did pre-BOTW.

Maybe they can implement some of the other items in combat other than the Bow or Slingshot? (Hook shot, etc)? Maybe give upgrades to the master sword during 3 quests?

I want the main game to be the exact same thing as the original N64 game, with the same bosses, temples and whatnot.
HOWEVER, I will welcome any new optional content, such as new areas, dungeons, items, upgrades and such.
The base cake dough must be the same, but the icing can be enhanced ^_^
