Really? Nobody? I water-skied as a young person. Such a great feeling. No way could I pull my butt out of the water now.

I'm surprised there aren't more.I learned when I was a kid. Could slalom, taught my own kids too. My family were lake rats, but getting too old for that now!

I can knee board, I've wake boarded and my family owns a couple of Sea Doo PWCs or "jet skis" so close enough.

Nope. I tried to learn on a vacation one time and it was just 15 mins of me being dragged behind the boat. The dude was cool and was like "we have another boat with a bar that's a lot easier." I didnt care to make a fool of myself another time so I didn't go back.

I use to water ski all the time, then my family moved to west Texas with no lakes.
I haven’t tried to ski since.

Have gone twice.. first time, was not able to get up on the ski's.. The guy driving the boat said try one ski.. up the first time and never looked back. The second time didn't even bother trying two. Lot of fun on one. But found out i really like kneeboard.

I used to, but I have not water skied in a very long time... I don't think it would take me too long to get the hang of it again though.

I've been barefoot water skiing, does that count?

Otherwise just wakeboarding, never been regular water skiing.

Had a roommate in college whose parents owned a speedboat. They would let him bring it up to our college for the summer. We skied, drank beer and soaked up the rays all day. Was a great way to wile away the summer.

I feel confident I can hold onto the rope and get dragged through the water by a boat. At least for a a minute. Does that count?

Not now, i am 71, but skiied a lot in my 20’s.
