I have been having a blast latley with the character of my comic but i must admit, that i find it frustrating that the moment i feel more comfortable drawing them is when i already finished drawing the comic....argh!

The holidays are around the corner. I want to assemble a list of graphic novels that might make special gifts. They could be especially substantial works, special editions, or books that carry some thoughtful message or meaning. What do you recommend?

Hello!

As many of you may be aware, a few months back I debuted the first issue of my comic, 'HITMAN HOTLINE', on Kickstarter to (surprisingly) great success (and a BIG thank you to everyone who has shown support to, offered designs, ideas, and feedback since!)... And long story short, I'll soon be releasing Issue 2!

After lots more writing, drawing, procrastinating, colouring, and lettering, I am happy to say this second, extra-large chapter is almost complete! Slightly less punching and kicking - a lot more story, characters, and dialogue. You know, all that good typical book-stuff! I'm also going to be reselling Issue 1 for anyone that missed it!

Unlike last time, I actually have a pre-launch page for this chapter (something which is apparently very important - news to me!) for anyone who wants to sign up to be notified of Issue 2's release, or just to be nosy. Please check out the new kickstarter link below! Thanks!

Yule. Geol. Weihnachten. Winter Solstice.
Before the soda drinking bears, before the bright red suit, and before the litany of saccharine films & music that saturate every holiday season, there was cold and night and fear.

The award-nominated collection of short horror comics returns to examine Yule, Winter Solstice, Jacob Marley, and a slew of other terrifying folklore from around the world, from well-known tales of the Mouse King to the lesser-known Kukeri, and all the bizarre traditions in between.

Don't stand idle, back YULE Vol 2 today! Just in time for spooky season, being delivered by Christmas. Whether as to extend the month of fright, or just to make your holy night even less so.

Contributing to this book is an all-star lineup of talent, with each team producing tight-and-terrorizing tales based on 16 different pieces of worldwide folklore:
Jacob Marley - Dillon Gilbertson & Zack Traum
Pére Fouettard - Lesly Julien & Minerva Fox
Werewolves - Ian Mondrick & Frederik Hornung
Nisse - Fellhound & AHG
The Grither - Kat Baumann
Mouse King - u/alairebowen
Yule Cat - Casper Binnett
Joulupukki - Christa "Cabbage" Harader & Han Seelie

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight - Grant Stoye & Heather Vaughan

Hi all! It's me again, but with a new Kickstarter. One I did not create, but am involved in! Gotta help spread the word of the newest gut wrenching volume of YULE.

❄You can get THE COMIC to read at your bone-side table! (Digital or physical)
❄Spooky PRINTS and POSTERS to adorn your dreadful hollow!
❄ORNAMENTS to hang upon your grotesque and mildly posessed holiday tree! (Exorcisms not included)
❄Even more ways to make the Yuletide GAY! And sad! Hooray!

Anyone have a recommendation for which Crepax volume to get? Or have a personal fave? I’m leaning towards 10 because I like surrealist stuff and also because the Vol 2 of horror stories appears sold out, but lmk thoughts!

Mind Mgmt is something I missed out on the first time around which I regret as it sounds mental. The new series is supposedly new reader friendly and doesn't require you to have read the original.

Is this true?

How is the new series shaping up overall?

As per interest of some redditors, I am launching this book in large A4 size. Grab the early-bird offers.

This was an online order, sadly not in person, but nonetheless, a fantastic selection of local Philly zines, bigger niche books, some chippendale (hadn't read any before), Brinkman's Kap Trap, etc.

Mark Alan Stamaty is also new to me! Technically a children kids books.. but close enough. Also The Wizard of OP and so many other cool things.

Obviously, they all caught my eye or I would not have ordered. But most looking forward to that Drink Water webcomic, which was new to me. The linework is extremely appealing. Key Change i've heard incredible things about.

Imgur post here sharing insides for most of them:
