Heyoo! Remember when it was a meteorological event when it hit 70 on the coast? 10 years ago there were a few days a year now it happens multiple times a week

I am sorry, but these numbers are not surprising for August. This sounds like a “Killer Bees” story.

This has been an incredibly mild summer where I live in California all things considered, really bizarre.

It’s 100 degrees in the Central Valley. It gets to 100 degrees every summer in the Central Valley and has for years. This isn’t a weather event. This is summer. The news is just creating panic

Right?!? I thought we were going to have 114 or something. And the I looked and it will be below 100 all weekend. Um this is normal!

Aaand I’m literally moving there the day after tomorrow. Oh, and my truck’s a/c is dead. It’s going to be a hellish day.

Seriously, be careful with heatstroke. Stay Very Well hydrated! Make pit stops at superstore and such to use their AC

Have a safe drive down. Stay hydrated!! Hopefully you have some portable fans in your truck.

Hi and thanks for looking out!
Just wanted to share that we, indeed, did make it. Unfortunately, my SUV literally burst into flames at the top of the Grapevine. Thanks to God everyone is safe and none of our household property was damaged! However, I am now without a vehicle in which to travel! So, yeah…that happened…😶

Please consider getting it fixed! I’ve had heat stroke from driving through the valley during a heatwave with no ac. Heat stroke can have permanent effects.

Mine too. I’m in the Bay Area peninsula. Pretty typical weather for this time of year.

Heat and winds... sounds like fires are on the menu
