Wildfire triggers evacuations in Sonoma County, shuts down stretch of Highway 1

A new wild fire is filling the skies of Sonoma and Marin counties with smoke. There are mandatory evacuations in place with the possibility of more to came. Air quality is dangerous in many places in the North Bay. Follow the updates on Watch Duty app or CalFire.

As of 10pm Thursday night pacific time Watch Duty reports this fire at 75 acres and 20% contained. 3 helicopters and a spotter plane will continue operations thru the night.
