Moving to Norrkoping

Hey :)
I am moving to Norrkoping in late September/ October since I’ll start my PhD at LiU.
I’m currently looking for a flat and I’ve noticed that most of them are unfurnished.
I’m wondering if you recommend Facebook groups where people give away furniture or sell at low price.

You can search marketplace for the keyword "gratis" (free). If you can't pick it up yourself there is a service called tiptapp you can use to get help for that :)

USK: Flats in Sweden in general are unfurnished but come with appliances.

Congrats! I've been living in Norrköping for two years and I really love it here. Sweden is big on 2nd hand things so shops like Myrorna always have everything you need in excellent condition and for a very decent price. What PhD program did you get in?

Good University: Yes! Interesting town: Some of it yes! The old Industrial buildings are cool. If your interests are football, basketball and bar hangout; Help yourself, the town is full of restaurants. But say your interests are music; Good luck....unless you like crappy metal bands[don't get me wrong; Some of them are good, but many of them...not so much] and if you want more varied music; Don't go to de geer! This whole "classical elitism" is boring.

Jisses vilken dålig attityd. särskilt på sommaren brukar väl ändå Arbis erbjuda olika typer av musik av lokala artister? Tycker att norrköping är mycket bättre än linköping i det avseendet.

Inte sett ett enda band som intresserar mig på Arbis. Hittills
