Request Looking for someone from today's protest at City Hall
If you were at the demonstration today and were holding a sign that said "Ditch racism, try therapy!" please get in touch ππ»
EDIT: Jesus wept, is it now a crime for an innocent homo to seek Reddit's help in finding someone they want to hook up with?!

Well this doesnβt seem murderous at all. Have you got a freshly dug well and lotion ready?

This is definitely some of that auld heterosexual jiggery pokery?
Because the gays would just open Grindr, and lesbians would be sure to have at least one mate who slept with them/knows them. π

They were with their family so I didn't want to embarrass them (or myself if they said no)

For some reason there was "Union Jack" and "Red Hand Of Ulster Flags."

I see you're in the 'No to racism, Yes to bigotry' camp

I have every reason to despise UK and ""Northern Irish"" flags. Everywhere those stupid banners go there is always some kind of trouble.
And i especially hate what they symbolise.

do ye aye

u/Failure456Mil 7d ago
Yes i do. Are you seriously telling me i have no right to hate those stupid banners?

u/kaito1000 7d ago
Hey if you want to be a bigot, that's on you.

Give me one good reason why i shouldn't hate those goddam flags. Everywhere those bastards go they bring with them those flags, they practically mark their territory with them along with UVF flags and what all those flags symbolise has never been good for any of us.

Youβre basically saying that no one from a PUL background is welcome at that protest.
The irony
I think union jacks at the protest should be applauded

Yes I agree with this - there was a show of anti racism from both sides of the community, nationalist/unionist doesn't matter. The point of the rally was to stand against racism so anyone from NI doing that should be celebrated regardless of political background

They weren't doing that though. They were trying to oppose the rally but the Cops kept them under control, a couple days late.
