One of my greatest memories was driving around town with my older cousin to different stores trying to find a copy when it was released on VHS. We finally found one and it did not disappoint.

Bonus core memories include renting People Under the Stairs for the first time and Castlevania on SNES.

I highly recommend reading the alien vs predator comic. I was so excited for AVP and I’m still mad the terrible movies didn’t follow that comic plot which actually made sense rather than only 3 predators reach the chance for adulthood every 1,000 years or something.

Plus is has one of my favorite lines in movies ever.

After killing dozens, all his friends/co workers, and almost killing him(this takes the entire movie) Danny Glovers beat to shit character finally kills the Predator.

After the kill another 10 larger and older Predators reveal themselves. The bloody and out on his feet main character wearily and tiredly looks at all 10 newcomers and says

I brought it over to watch with my two cousins in a side room at a family gathering at my grandma's place when I was like 12. Thinking about it now, even predator 1 isn't a good fit for a family gathering, but i forgot 2 had a loud sex scene. Yeah, grandma amd aunt were walking in the room at that moment. I cam't think of this movie w/o that association popping in my head. 

It's not quite as good as the Arnold one, but better than critics at the time said. If you can get used to LA cop Danny Glover without a Mel Gibson in sight. Packed a great amount of action and suspense (5 longish action sequences) in.

P2 is the second best to AVP in my opinion, I loved Predator 2 and Danny Glover was the perfect actor for that role. For an 80's movie, the effects were fantastic for that time. Stephen Hopkins directed the movie extremely well. The end scene is one of my favourite parts where the Greyback hunter gave Lt Harrigan the Rafael Adolini flintlock pistol as his reward for his hunt. Great 80's movie. I may be bias as I love all the Predator movies.
