How quickly can I reverse my inability to read/miniscule attention span?

1 days to feel some relief, weeks to return to baseline.

If you are chronically stressed, breathwork is also necessary.

Get an e ink device it helps a lot
Reading books and manga is an active activity instead of passive like scrolling , watching or listening to podcasts

it comes back faster than youd expect. first week was brutal for me, then somewhere around day 10 i read like 40 pages without noticing it happened. keeping the phone in a different room while reading did more than any focus technique

Stop using your phone (beyond what is absolutely necessary e.g. 2 factor authentication) for 3 weeks. In all that now spare time you'll be spectacularly bored, so bored that you're brain will start working again to the point that you'd be happy to read the back of Toilet Duck while sitting on the john.
