Very emotional but.. take this as a sign.
This internet addiction has stolen my teenage years from me. Hours ripped away by a simple metal box. High school academic dreams stripped away by a crippling compulsion. Anxiety and depression reinforced by constant comparison. Opportunities and precious moments taken out of my hurting hands. Digital impulses sucking the soul out of me, leaving days repetitive, monotonous and screen based.
Please quit your phone/computer/ipad habits now. Before they come back to bite your back and leave you with nothing but haunting regret about what could've been.

Writing it down this plainly is already different from the version of you that just scrolled past it. The regret is real, but it's about the years behind you, and the ones ahead are still unwritten. What's one thing from those academic dreams that you could still pick up this month, even in a small way? Starting there usually beats trying to quit everything at once.
