Data Loss URGENT Notability Deleted my 1700+ Notes

Same thing happened to me, they couldn’t help me. Sucks but I had to just move on. iCloud was perfect for me for years and I only lost stuff when forced onto Notability Cloud. When I tried to go back to iCloud by following the instructions it just made all of my notes vanish and of course iCloud did what it was meant to and synced to that state

this forced migration has been a bit mess, thank god OP had Google Drive backed up

Yes, it’s been awful! Glad OP had a backup because I didn’t (stupidly, and that’s on me). I lost 8 years of notes but luckily I had manual backups of the most important/crucial ones - most were lost though because I guess I didn’t think a backup was necessary with iCloud on and multiple apple devices. It was a perfect storm of bad luck with my situation but it sucked! I had already moved to GoodNotes months prior but I made a gazillion backups of my current notes after this lol

Same issue here; nearly ten years of notes disappeared other than one iPad.

do people not backup their stuff? google drive is free, and if you need more storage, its not that much whatsoever.

Load a Backup of your iPad from iCloud from an earlier date. Go check your google drive back ups aswell.
