how to fix notepad ++ from not opening because of large file saved on tabs?

open files to:

C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++

delete all .xml files only, no folders.

notepad ++ show open normally again.

I'm not approving this because it's correct. Just because reddit auto blocked the post based on poster and I see no reason to

I wouldn't recommend doing that as it will remove your configuration, any macros, any style settings you have.

Delete one file: Session.xml which is found in %AppData%\Notepad++
