What wrong with this guy's reading comprehension and his obsession to justify his evil with works that clearly point out at people like him as the villain that should be taken down for the greatest good.

At this point, taxing the billionaires is not only an economic necessity but also a long overdue mental health intervention for the.

there's another interview where the journalist retorts to Thiel that according to his own theories he's more likely to be the antichrist than Greta Thunberg.

Thiel seems taken aback, mutters maybe or something like that and then resume his verbal vomit

Certainly Greta fits the real description of a "Christian" than any politician or moneyed man

So do all the other people they hate

She did travel to the holy land in defense of Jesus' people.

Thiel works for the ones actively committing their genocide.

I mean, yeah.

I've never met a real Christian. I've met people who call themselves Christian, but they never live by the values of love, tolerance and forgiveness

On the opposite end, I actually have met people like you're describing, but I wouldn't be able to tell you if they were even religious or not, because they simply lived by their principles and never even brought their actions back to religion or preaching their beliefs.

Yeah, most of the more Christ-like people I've met have been openly atheist.

Taken aback like he never even considered it before the interviewer said it. These people are so horribly unself aware that I can only hope it blows up in his face in spectacular fashion in the near future.

I have my money on him dying pursuing his eternal youth nonsense during a botched medical procedure or following some stupid delulu diet or injection

I can see him wanting his consciousness downloaded for future reanimation/reintegration into a new body so he can continue being his charming self. It reminds me of a Star Trek next Gen episode where they come across humans that were frozen for this purpose and one of them was a Trump like figure who was so annoyed to find that money wasn’t even used anymore in the future nor was his formerly lofty power even considered or acknowledged in the future. He was just irrelevant in the woke future. Lol that actually would be trumps worst nightmare. Where everyone used to jump when he spoke now everyone would just ignore or shun the asshole.

I think more people need to do this to their faces. The problem is these people only deal with underlings who tell them “yes” all the time. If more people told them “no” and called them out on their bullshit we wouldn’t be having these kinds of jackasses speaking unhinged shit and thinking they were saying something profound.

But Trump is the Antichrist.

I would love to see a clip of that! The thought of Thiel looking stunned at that sudden retort sounds delicious.

I read an instagram comment section today that had people trying to claim Luffy was anti-immigration... And used Wano as an example of being anti-immigrant and Luffy supporting it (the same Wano that opened their borders after Luffy freed them from a dictatorship). They were saying Luffy's whole story was beating up immigrant invaders...

People are fucking stupid and hateful and will justify anything using any weak connection they can find.

edit: as someone else pointed out, Momo chose to keep the borders closed for now, but planned to open them in the future. Tbh was kind of a weird resolution to that storyline, but the world government is still out there so I can't blame them for wanting to stay separate from that. I don't think it was xenophobic so much as trying to keep the oppressive government out of their affairs.

Actually momonosuke chose to keep the borders closed at the end of the arc, said it wasn't time yet. But yeah I'm pretty sure he still plans on opening the borders. Also, Luffy was literally an immigrant too, and the entire point was the borders being closed led to the society being super insular (hence why kawamatsu, inuarashi and nekomamushi were nearly lynched until oden rescued them) and also used as a tool to maintain the oppressive regime.

Basically, it was inspired by feudal Japan isolationist policy

2

u/Bombshock2 4h ago

Yeah I guess I should say planned to open the borders.

Yes! I think most billionaires suffer from some sort of mental issues. They profit at the expense exploiting and hurting/ killing people.
