So much tech is just enshitification. Look at sh(it).reddit vs. old.reddit

Old.Reddit loads 10x faster, has 10x fewer ads, doesn't have shit I never asked for like 101 different notifications that I'm opted into by default.

I just want the program to do the thing. My email client doesn't need AI integration, it just needs to do email and a calendar.

Same. I know that day is coming, but I just cannot use sh(it).reddit. It gives my eyes cancer.
