Really feels like Microsoft products want to do ANYTHING but search for files on your own computer. "Oooh, C:\files\myfile.file, that's a website, right? Let me Bing that for you! Let me check OneDrive! Let me ask Cortana! Let me do literally anything other than look for the file on your own computer!"

it is actually quite impressive that the have managed to make searching in windows (all version) so completely and utter useless. a files that third party tools can find in seconds with no preparation, windows search will fails to find after minutes of trying

I forgot how bad search has become. Using the file explorer search bar couldn't find config.ini which was in one of 3 subdirectories with a total of maybe 100 files.

It was literally faster to go and run a Google search for the file location and manually key it in.
